Junior Researcher’s Toolkit Hardcover Journal

Every big discovery starts with a question. This hardcover journal gives young scientists a sturdy place to write down what they notice, what they wonder, and what they find out.

Sprout, Cedar, and Sage from Open Label Learning are on the front, each holding a tool every researcher needs. Cedar measures, Sprout observes, and Sage records. The Researcher ID box has room for your junior researcher’s name and their own big question.

On the back, five mentors from the Open Label Learning coloring books share how scientists think. Professor Hoot says notice. Professor Quill says wonder. Dr. Fig says make your best guess. Professor Miro says check it. Dr. Luma says it’s okay to change your mind when the evidence tells you to.

Inside, ruled pages are ready for observations, experiment notes, questions, and big ideas. The hardcover holds up in a backpack, on a nature walk, or at the kitchen table during an experiment.
